She has spent her decades-long career as a public relations and marketing consultant working with publicly held and private B2B and B2C companies to help them achieve business goals on the global, regional, and national stage.

In addition, Kiersten is a supporter of the arts and a recipient of the Al D. Wolfheimer Volunteer Service Award for her commitment to youth education at Raleigh Little Theatre, a non-profit organization and one of the oldest continuously operating community theatres in the country.
She is a graduate of Emerson College and is a long-standing member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She currently serves on the board of directors for the North Carolina PRSA chapter as president-elect. Kiersten has served the organization as secretary, treasurer and communication director.
